In the heart of Reservation division, Publisher team is responsible to handle notifications to various
internal (applications, data platforms…) and external actors (airlines, travel agencies, train-companies, hotel) for any modification of a specific booking. As part of Travel Record Data Capabilities department Publisher contributes to reservation data management.
Working in Publisher you will enjoy working in motivated team on challenging and customer visible
product. You will have opportunity to work on technical projects (Cloud migration to Azure, System
optimization initiatives) as well as functional aspects (data platforms, NDC, diversified product
improvements and implementations) helping to shape the future of Amadeus product and platform
Accountabilities
In mindset of everyone as devops you will be responsible for:

Participating in feasibility studies and refining customer needs

Designing the best solution to address customer requirements and platform evolution

Developing and maintaining software following Amadeus standards
-
Contributing to quality chain from unit test to customer debug through performance test and validation. Going further by taking part in incident management and pro-active actions to increase customers and developers experience

Deploying and releasing changes on the different platforms

Operating applications on the different platforms (legacy OBE and Cloud new stack)

Documenting solutions, studies, and procedures
You will work with following technology (but not only):
- C++
- Python
- OpenShift
- Kafka
- Oracle (Database and queueing solutions)
- Git
- Docker
- Jenkins
- Helm
This position is open for senior developers or principal engineer. Reservation Publisher is a mission critical components with high visibility in the engineering community. We are sending a billion messages daily !
