We are looking for an engineer with strong problem solving and ideally security background to aid the process of maximizing web content acquisition.
Key part of responsibility would be lead developer for web content acquisition for implementation activities with a keen eye on problem solving various content acquisition security challenges, where content or data is acquired from various online platforms or websites.
As an employee you will interact with teams based in Nice, Antwerp and Bangalore.

Key responsibilities

Leading/enabling the web content acquisition:

• Understand web site implementations and have the technical skill to decompose these systems using best suited approach for site content acquisition and integration.
• Develop programs that optimise web content acquisition techniques, which includes addressing frequent changes on web site, market specific changes to site (language, currency, website updates, mobile app updates, security updates etc).
• Improve time to market by building frameworks that optimizes the content acquisition workflows and security challenges
• Be forward looking in identifying web content security trends and be abreast in identifying areas of risks that could potentially break the content acquisition strategy.
• Actively seek ways to improve the content acquisition methodology, including the technical debt and security orientation of the tools and infrastructures.
• Collaborate across geographically distributed sites and teams for increased problem solving and technology adoption in collaboration with your development peers.

Required technical skills/abilities:

• Web standards and modern browser apis
• Strong networking skills (TCP/IP, proxies ...)
• Experience with headless browsers
• Reverse engineering expertise (wireshark, network traces, deobfuscation ...)
• Exposure to Captcha, Bot detection and mitigation, cybersecurity protection solutions (Akamai, Distill, Imperva,)

Required non-technical Skills/Abilities:

• High level of autonomy
• Familiarity with Devops best practices
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, analytical thinking
• Interest and experience in Capture the Flag (CTF) competitions
• Passionate about ethical hacking and breaking web code and security controls

Education certificates and experience

• Significant experience of working in a commercial environment as a software developer
• Education: University degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience or courses in infosec or appsec as part of studies
• Desired AppSec certificate such as CEH, GWAPT
