Our team
You will join the Hospitality Division at Amadeus, working within a multicultural, English-speaking team. Specifically, you will collaborate with the engineers of the Rates team, focusing on enhancing the quality assurance (QA) process. At Amadeus, we are committed to transforming travel through technology, and as part of our team, you will contribute to creating innovative solutions that improve our testing workflows.
Role Overview
As an apprentice, you will be involved in a key project aimed at streamlining and automating the regression test analysis process. Your mission will be to design and implement a solution that reduces the manual effort required to identify recurring test failures, allowing QA engineers to focus on critical issues.
Key Responsibilities
As an apprentice, you will contribute to:
Understanding QA Needs: Work closely with QA engineers to analyze and identify their requirements for functional coverage measurement.
Proposing Technical Solutions: Design and develop a solution to address these needs effectively.
Throughout the apprenticeship, you will be mentored by experts in software development and quality assurance.
Exploring two approaches: Leveraging the ALM Octane Tool for coverage measurement and creating a tag-based system to classify and track test scenarios.
Your Profile
We are seeking a curious and motivated apprentice with a strong interest in software development and test automation. The ideal candidate will have:
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python).
Interest in test automation tools and software quality.
Strong analytical skills to understand and address QA team needs.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
A willingness to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
Familiarity with the ReadyAPI tool (a plus, but not mandatory).
