We are building a new unit within R&D Serviceability area, which is one of the major research and development units within Ericsson R&D Centre France organization focused on making products easy to use and maintain. We are looking for java developers to join our software development teams eager to work in Cloud and microservice environment. Are you the one !   Our Exciting Opportunity We are looking for experienced java developers to join our software development team. We are responsible for introducing changes in software life cycle management tools and processes aimed at creating more modern, fully automated and future-proof environment supporting handling products in our company. You will conduct technical analysis regarding new functionalities to be implemented in our projects. You will support and guide your team during the study phase, implementation and validation phases.   You will Drive studies which are input for cross-functional (XFT) team Analyze and propose new solutions in the domain to ensure efficient implementation of functionality Provide technical and process guidance to your team, mentor and guide other colleagues. Be a member of XFT team and take part in all development activities such as: SW architecture and solution design, coding, testing and verification, product maintenance, automation, and documentation handling Develop prototypes to evaluate new algorithm in actual projects Participate in software development from pre-studies to implementation and operations. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc. Assure close alignment with existing software and code structures during feature development Collaborate closely with other development teams, study drivers and architects to achieve high quality solutions   To be successful in the role you must have Strong knowledge of Java, with recorded experience Solid analytical skills Software development methodology, integration and testing knowledge Tools: GIT, Gerrit Code Review, Jenkins Experience in using FOSS libraries Education: Academic degree, minimum on bachelor level in engineering (IT, Telecom) Proficiency in English. Be able to communicate both orally and in writing with international organizations   Interpersonal competencies: Great teammate, flexible mind and results oriented. Innovative, proactive and learning attitude. Experience working in collaboration. Self-organization, knowledge-sharing and collaboration skills.   Additional Requirements Experience with Cloud-native application development e.g. Docker/Kubernetes and knowledge about design and integration patterns (microservices)   The recruitment journey   Part of your recruitment for this position will be the following steps: Step 1 : Application.
