What you will doAs a Business Developer, you will provide essential support to client account managers dedicated to Allianz entities.
- Client Coordination and Engagement: o Coordinate client-facing activities aimed at introducing, retaining, and cross-selling strategies in both public and private markets o Proactively handle day-to-day client requests and business-related activities, ensuring a seamless and results-oriented approach in collaboration with the team and other AllianzGI functions
- Project Management: o Oversee various projects, including the launch of new investment vehicles, regulatory compliance, and other strategic initiatives o Contribute to discussions surrounding transversal and strategic topics, including Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations
- Business Development: o Provide day-to-day support for "internal" client functions by ensuring effective selection, allocation, and monitoring of investment strategies o Work closely with the team and other AllianzGI departments (such as management, support functions, and reporting) to address client requests and improve service delivery o Analyze and understand client needs to effectively position and co-design tailored Asset Management solutions
- Support in Development Initiatives: o Contribute to the design and execution of development initiatives aimed at enhancing our offerings and service capabilities
What you bring - Master's Degree in Finance, Asset Management or any related field
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the financial sector - Asset Management, Audit (consulting firm or insurance)
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, in English and French
- Advanced knowledge of Asset Management activities - capital markets and financial products as well as expertise within Life Insurance and Savings Industry practices
- Proven relationship management skills and sales focus combined with Project Management experience
- A team player who can collaborate effectively across various functions and departments
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Certifications like CFA/CAIA would be an advantage
